1. Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Combine sugar and oil in medium size bowl. Add egg whites and beat until very frothy. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. The dough will at first seem thin, but keep beating to look like gloppy, too-thick gravy.
3. Drop by ¼ cupfuls onto the prepared baking sheet. With wet fingers, press the dough out until almost translucent and 6 inches in diameter.
4. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the edges begin to brown.
